Obituary of Sarla Patel

Sarla Patel passed away Tuesday evening, October 15, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. She was 76.

Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, she had lived in India before immigrating to the United States in 1988. She was a longtime resident of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

Mrs. Patel earned her Bachelors Degree while living in India.

A homemaker, Sarla Patel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raojibhai Patel in 1990, Sarla is survived by her two adoring children, Niraj Patel of Parsippany, and Meera Patel of Plainville, CT; two dear brothers, six sisters, and her four cherished grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Puja Funeral Service on Thursday, October 17, 2024, 2:00pm to 3:00 pm at Rosedale Crematory Chapel, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ. Cremation will immediately follow.
