Induben Babulal Desai (nee Dharia) passed away peacefully Saturday morning, March 9, 2024 surrounded by family at Genesis/ Troy Hills Center in Parsippany, NJ. She was 87.
Born and raised in Balasinor, Gujarat, India, Mrs. Desai immigrated to the United States in 1983, settling in Mine Hill, NJ, before coming to Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.
A homemaker, Mrs. Desai was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceded in death by her husband Babulal Desai in 2014, she is survived by her two children, Nilesh B. Desai of Parsippany, and Bhavna (Bonnie) Parikh of Dallas, TX; three siblings, Kirit Dharia of California, Geeta Kadakia of Hillsborough, NJ, and Kashmira Dharia of India; four grandchildren, and two-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 12, 10:00am to 12:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Cremation will follow at Rosedale Crematory, Montclair, NJ.
