Obituary of Antonietta Castellana

Antonietta Claire Castellana (nee Birilli), lovingly known as Toni, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, January 17, 2024 at Cooperman-St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. She was 83.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Toni was raised in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ, and had lived in Boonton, NJ before moving to Florham Park, NJ in 1985.

She worked as an office manager with Knoll Pharmaceuticals in Whippany for twenty years before retiring.

Mrs. Castellana was preceded in death by her parents, Domenico and Pietrina "Betty" (nee Badalamenti) Birilli; and a sister, Jacqueline Datria, as well as her husband, Arnold Datria.

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Joseph J. Castellana; three beloved children, Michael Castellana of Poland, Michelle Castellana of Florham Park, NJ, and Dominica Cali and her husband, Kenneth of River Vale, NJ; and two cherished sisters, Francine "Micki" Walsh of Lake Hiawatha, NJ and Elizabeth Kesselring and her husband, Bill of Kissimmee, FL.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, January 19, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 20, 2024, 10:00am at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Parsippany. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ.
