Please share a memory of Nan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Nan Blumenfeld Bolz passed away suddenly but peacefully on September 12, 2023, in Denville, New Jersey. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, to Adrian and Ena Blumenfeld. Nan was a longtime resident of Boca Raton, Florida, and previously of New Jersey and Saint Thomas, United States Virgin Islands.

Nan attended Millburn High School, Leysin American School in Switzerland, the University of Georgia, and the Emory University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree. She was a practicing attorney for 42 years in the United States Virgin Islands and Florida. With her husband Chuck, she founded Bolz & Bolz, Attorneys at Law, a successful legal practice, and Horizon Title Services, Inc., a title insurance agency, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

She was an accomplished and impressive woman. Over the last 36 years she has been a highly skilled, well respected real estate attorney and an integral part of the South Florida real estate community who has helped thousands of clients and real estate professionals. She survived cancer many years ago against great odds, fighting to be there for her two wonderful sons. Nan truly understood the gift of life firsthand.

In her leisure time, Nan enjoyed skiing, biking, trips to the beach, and traveling to the mountains of Colorado. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was vibrant and passionate. She was the kindest, most loving person, the truest of friends, and the heart and soul of her family. She lived deeply, and expressed gratitude for every day and everyone in her life. She was the greatest, most wonderful mother, wife, aunt, sister, and daughter. Her character, strength, and goodness inspired everyone who knew her.

Nan is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Chuck, and her sons, Craig, of Miami, Florida, and Jonathan, of Boca Raton, Florida. She is also survived by her brother Jay Blumenfeld and his wife Merri of Parsippany, New Jersey.

Her family is shocked and devastated by their sudden loss. She will be forever loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Nan was a longtime member of Congregation B'nai Israel in Boca Raton. A celebration of life will be held for Nan in South Florida in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, Nan's family requests that donations be made to Cure Breast Cancer Foundation, Clifton, NJ, at http://curebreastcancerfoundation.org
