Obituary of Sigmund Levine
Sigmund Levine peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 28th 2023. He was 98 years old.
Born in Orlando Florida, Sigmund grew up in Israel. He also lived in Queens, NY, Lake Hiawatha, NJ and Pine Brook, NJ.
Sigmund attended the American University of Beirut Lebanon.
He was an Army veteran and bravely served our country during WWII. While in the US Military he was stationed in Cairo, Egypt and Casablanca, Morocco.
After serving in the military Sigmund returned to the US and finished college at the University of Florida.
After he attended Brooklyn Law School.
He worked as a Treasurer at Dinsmore Capital Management, Morristown, NJ for 21 years and retired in 2003.
Sigmund was predeceased by his beloved wife Min Levine (nee Horowitz) in 2004. Survivors include his loving son Gary Levine and his wife Sandra and loving daughter Dr. Nancy Levine-Schatz and her husband Larry. Grandfather to Brandon and Samantha. Sigmund is also survived by his sisters Harriet Kessler and Estelle Bar-Eli. Predeceased by his brother Oscar Levine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Funeral Service to begin at 11:30 am at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Rd., Lake Hiawatha. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY.
