Giulietta Ferragine, (Julie) passed away at the age of 84 with her children by her side. She was the daughter of the late Aurelio and Margherita (Amoroso) Rossilli who migrated from Italy to live the American dream. While born in Washington DC, moved to Queens NY for a period, settling in Nutley NJ with rich old world Italian traditions which she passed along to her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Pasquale Ferragine who passed in February 2016.  Mother of two children, she is survived by her devoted daughter Rita Poole (and husband Russell); son Sal Ferragine (and wife Carla); four grandchildren Cameron, Gavin, Alexa and Nicolas; her sister Rita Rossilli and nieces MaryAnn Wallace and her husband, Don and Donna Brillante and her husband, Ricky

As a young woman, Julie was an accomplished opera singer, studying at the prestigious Julliard School for opera and was always one of her true passions. She was a devout parishioner of the Catholic faith and attended church almost daily where she was very active in the choir. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life including trips to the beach, rides with her husband and visits with family. She was a kind soul who embraced each beautiful day.
