Obituary of C. Patricia Williams
Clare Patricia Williams, (nee Marchese), affectionately known as "Pat" passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025 at the Troy Hills Center in Parsippany, NJ in the presence of her loving family, following an extended illness. She was 83.
Born in Irvington, NJ, she had also lived in Newark, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills in 1976.
Pat's love affair with her husband, Raymond F. Williams began in Newark. The couple were married on May 14, 1959 and spent 64 wonderful years together before his passing on February 18, 2023.
She had been employed as a telephone operator with The Exchange of Irvington, NJ for over 40 years before her retirement.
Pat was a funny and outspoken woman; you always knew how she felt on a given subject. Her favorite saying was "The more you deal with the public, the more you love your dog!"
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond F. Williams in 2023; a daughter, Coleen Lennie in 2022; and her two siblings, Charles Thomas Dixon and Cecelia Mary Dixon Norris.
Survivors include her two beloved daughters, Eilene Weber and her husband, Scott, and Patricia Radler, both of Lake Hiawatha; her dear son-in-law, Frank Lennie of Lake Hiawatha, six cherished grandchildren, Raymond Lennie (who was the best caretaker of both Pat and her late husband Ray), Reverend Frank Lennie, Scott & Sandy Weber, Nicole and Patty Bottone, and John and Kate Radler; and nine adored great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Thursday, July 10, 2025, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by her grandson, Father Frank Lennie on Friday, July 10, 2025, 10:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange, NJ. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
