Obituary of Mariela Hernandez Flores

Mariela Hernandez Flores passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 22, 2205 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston following a valiant battle with breast cancer. She was 35.

Born in Puebla, Mexico, Mariela was a lifelong resident of Mexico, before recently coming to Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ to be with her family.

A beloved mother, daughter, and sister, Mariela was a homemaker. Her home was a place of warmth and love.

She is survived by her two cherished daughters, Kelly Sanchez and Keidy Sanchez; her devoted parents Juan Hernandez de Jesus and Serena Flores Romero; and her two beloved brothers, Ricardo Hernandez and his wife, Blanca Savera and David Hernandez; as well as a host of family and friends in the United States and Mexico.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, 7:00pm to 11:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 9:30pm during the Visitation by Father Diego Monsalve. Private cremation will follow on Thursday morning at Locust Hill Crematory, Dover.
